On August 16, 2024, Arevik Aivazova presented a study titled “The Impact of Widely Prescribed Medications on Female Fertility” at the 10th International Conference on Public Health (ICOPH 2024) in Bangkok, Thailand. The presentation, which explored how widely used medications may affect female fertility, earned the Best Presenter award in the Gender, Sexual, and Reproductive Health category.

Research focuses on how commonly prescribed medications may influence female fertility — an area that is often overlooked in everyday clinical practice. The topic sparked active discussion among conference participants, underlining how important it is for healthcare providers to take reproductive health into account when prescribing treatment.

Following the conference, the work is expected to continue in collaboration with international experts. The goal is to better understand these effects and make this information more accessible, helping clinicians make more informed decisions when treating patients.
